Who will emerge as the final unbeaten team in the 2023 NFL season? Our predictions for the last undefeated squad are determined by the odds provided by our top NFL betting platforms.

Each NFL season, one of the most interesting bets to place is on which team will be the last to remain undefeated. While the 1972 Miami Dolphins celebrate their perfect season whenever all 32 teams have suffered a loss, the final undefeated team is usually unexpected.

The top contenders for the last undefeated team in 2023 are expected to be the Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and San Francisco 49ers, and it’s not hard to see why. Any of these teams could potentially start the season with a string of victories.

The Eagles have the most challenging schedule for the upcoming year due to their opponents’ high combined winning percentages from the previous season. The Bills and Chiefs compete in tough divisions, while the 49ers are working on incorporating a quarterback who recently underwent major elbow surgery.

These are our top picks for the last unbeaten team in the NFL, with odds sourced from our recommended NFL betting sites. Confidence level is rated on a scale of 1 to 5 stars.

Ravens (+1400 via FanDuel)

Week 1: Texans at home, Week 2: Bengals on the road, Week 3: Colts at home, Week 4: Browns on the road, Week 5: Steelers on the road, Week 6: Titans on the road, Week 7: Lions at home, Week 8: Cardinals on the road

The Chiefs, Eagles, Bills, and 49ers are all expected to win their games in the first half of the season, making them strong contenders to remain undefeated. However, there are other teams with even higher chances of staying unbeaten.

The Baltimore Ravens are considered contenders for the Super Bowl, with the eighth-best odds according to our Super Bowl odds. They have a favorable first-half schedule, playing three teams from the weak AFC South before traveling to face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 8.

The primary obstacle will come in Week 2 when facing the Cincinnati Bengals in a divisional matchup. However, it is possible that Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow may not have fully recovered from his calf injury by that time.

We are also concerned about the Ravens having to play road games against their three divisional rivals within the first five games.

If Baltimore can secure victories as strong favorites against the rebuilding Texans, defeat the Bengals, outplay the Anthony Richardson-led Colts in Week 3, and emerge victorious on the road in Cleveland and Pittsburgh (where they are likely to be favored), the Ravens have a strong chance of being the last undefeated team. However, they will also need some of the top teams in the league to suffer unexpected losses.

Saints (+2500 via DraftKings, Caesars)

Week 1: Titans at home, Week 2: Panthers on the road, Week 3: Packers on the road, Week 4: Buccaneers at home, Week 5: Patriots on the road, Week 6: Texans on the road, Week 7: Jaguars at home, Week 8: Colts on the road

Based on the combined winning percentages of their opponents, the New Orleans Saints have the second-easiest schedule in the league. According to PFF, their slate is even rated as the easiest.

They will compete against six teams from the NFC South and also take on the AFC South, which are considered the two weakest divisions in the NFL.

The Saints kick off the season at home against the Tennessee Titans and their struggling offense. Next, they take on rookie quarterback Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers before heading to Lambeau Field to face Jordan Love in his debut season as the leader of the Green Bay Packers.

In the coming three weeks, the team will face off against weaker opponents including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots, and Houston Texans.

The New Orleans Saints will face their toughest challenge in Week 7 when they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars, a team that recently made it to the divisional round of the playoffs. If the Saints can overcome the Jaguars, they should have an easy path to their bye week in Week 11, with only a Week 13 matchup against the Detroit Lions posing a significant threat.

Looking for another benefit? The Saints will only play one game outdoors after Week 5, which is during Week 17 in Tampa. New Orleans typically plays in a dome, giving them the advantage of playing 12 games indoors.

The Saints have a seasoned and skilled lineup that sets them apart from their NFC South rivals. With their current schedule, they present a strong betting opportunity at odds of +2500.
