Most regular-season rushing yards odds movement

McCaffrey emerged as the frontrunner in the market following Nick Chubb’s season-ending knee injury in Week 2. He was steadily widening the gap until he suffered his own injury in Week 6. Although he didn’t miss any playing time, the injury affected his performance and allowed his competitors to close the gap in October.

Nevertheless, he gained a total of 287 yards in three games during November and managed to run for 93 yards against the formidable Eagles defense in Week 13. McCaffrey then showcased his talent in Week 14 by rushing for 145 yards against the Seahawks, his best performance since Week 1. He continued his impressive streak with 115 yards on the ground against the Cardinals in Week 15.

McCaffrey’s dominant 300-yard lead has stirred up turmoil at top sports betting platforms. FanDuel stopped offering odds after Week 14, followed by BetMGM after Week 15. DraftKings and bet365 have all but declared McCaffrey the winner, challenging underdog bettors to take a chance. While bet365 offers slightly better odds at -5000, it’s still not very enticing.

Most regular-season rushing yards 2023: Favorite

Christian McCaffrey (-5000 via bet365)

CMC is currently the frontrunner in this category and is also a top contender in the Offensive Player of the Year betting odds. He leads the league in rushing by a significant margin of over 300 yards, with an impressive average of 5.3 yards per carry. Additionally, he has the most rushing attempts in the league.

If McCaffrey is sidelined for the last three weeks because of a sudden and severe injury, it would require an impressive performance from Raheem Mostert, Kyren Williams, or James Cook to keep the competition close.
