Jauan Jennings, the 49ers wide receiver, only had more than two receptions in a game three times this season. Despite this, he has established a valuable role within the offense. However, as the team aims for the Super Bowl, it is unlikely that they will rely heavily on him, given their abundance of top-tier weapons.

One of the key factors contributing to Brock Purdy’s successful performance as quarterback is the abundance of talent that supports him on the field. With players like Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, and Brandon Aiyuk, San Francisco boasts a roster full of playmakers. Additionally, Elijah Mitchell adds to the depth of offensive options, leaving Jennings as perhaps the fifth or sixth choice. Throughout his five playoff games so far, Jennings has only exceeded two receptions in a single game.

Because San Francisco’s secondary is seen as the defense’s weakest point, it is expected that Hurts will focus on passing rather than running during Sunday’s game.
