As Week 8 of the NFL season comes to a close with Monday Night Football, the Las Vegas Raiders will face off against the Detroit Lions. We present our top player props for the Raiders vs. Lions game, based on the most favorable MNF odds.

Both the Raiders and Lions will be aiming to bounce back from tough Week 7 defeats as they face each other on Monday Night Football.

Detroit experienced its second defeat of the season last week, but it was a humiliating one. The Lions were defeated by the Baltimore Ravens by a staggering 32 points, with only six points scored, the lowest of the season.

In the meantime, the Raiders suffered a 30-12 loss to the struggling Chicago Bears, with rookie quarterback Tyson Bagent appearing completely outmatched in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Raiders can breathe a sigh of relief as starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is expected to make his return this week, providing much-needed stability to the offense.

Here are our top player props for the Raiders vs. Lions Monday Night Football game, in addition to our Jared Goff props and game prediction. These props are rated on a 1-to-5-star scale based on our confidence level and NFL odds from our recommended betting sites.

Raiders vs. Lions NFL player props: Monday Night Football

Amon-Ra St. Brown first to 40 receiving yards (+220 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions has been a dependable receiver this season, averaging 10.9 yards per catch. With 69 targets, he is not only the most targeted player on his team but also the 7th most targeted wide receiver in the league, providing him with numerous opportunities to reach this average. St. Brown has recorded a long reception of at least 20 yards in all but one of his games this season, showcasing his ability to gain a significant portion of his average in just one catch.

Las Vegas wide receiver Davante Adams is expected to be his closest competition. The veteran Green Bay receiver has an average of 11.5 yards per reception this season, with three more targets than St. Brown. However, Adams is only converting 64% of those targets into receptions.

Aidan Hutchinson to record a sack and Detroit Lions to win (+125 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Aidan Hutchinson, a dominant force on defense, has recorded 4.5 sacks this season. Although he has gone two games without a sack, this upcoming matchup is likely to boost his stats. The Las Vegas team has been giving up an average of 2.3 sacks per game and has allowed three or more sacks in two games already. In Week 4, they allowed 7 sacks on rookie QB Aidan O’Connell when they faced the Los Angeles Chargers. Hutchinson is poised to take advantage of this vulnerable offensive line and add to his sack total in this game.

The Lions are leading the NFC North with a current record of 5-2, having won four consecutive games before their recent loss to the Ravens. Meanwhile, the Raiders are in second place in the AFC West with a record of 3-4. Despite winning two games in a row, they were defeated by the Bears last week.

In his last three games, Carlson has tried 10 field goals. Despite only making seven of them, he has managed to score at least two field goals in consecutive games. Just two weeks ago, he successfully made all four of his field goal attempts against the New England Patriots.

Detroit has allowed two field goals in three of their seven games this season. On average, opposing teams are trying two field goals per game against the Lions this year.
