On Sunday, there is a possibility that Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs could have his playing time reduced against the Miami Dolphins.
Despite the Dallas Cowboys’ recent impressive performances, running back Tony Pollard has not lived up to expectations this season. He has failed to surpass 60 rushing yards in six consecutive games.

Rushing player props
Tony Pollard Over 66.5 rushing yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Tony Pollard started strong, rushing for over 70 yards in each of his first three games and totaling 264 yards. However, in his last six games, he has only accumulated 265 rushing yards and has not surpassed 55 yards in any single game.
Pollard is expected to have a breakthrough game this week against the Panthers, who have the 26th-ranked rushing defense in the league. With their defense allowing an average of 131.9 rushing yards per game, Pollard is likely to play a significant role in the Cowboys’ offense once they establish a lead. If he doesn’t perform well against this weak defense, it may be time to consider benching him for the remainder of the season.
All of our top sports betting apps have set Pollard’s total at 67.5, with the exception of FanDuel. Among them, bet365 is offering the most competitive price at -110 for the Over. However, considering Pollard’s performance this season, we suggest opting for the slightly lower price to secure the extra yard.

Justin Fields Over 8.5 rushing attempts (-120 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
After missing several games due to a thumb injury suffered in Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings, Bears quarterback Justin Fields is set to make his return to the field. The Lions have had difficulties with their pass defense, giving up an average of 252.3 yards per game in their last three outings. Despite this vulnerability, Fields may not be able to capitalize on the Lions’ defensive struggles due to his lingering injury.
If Fields is hesitant to throw into tight coverage, he will rely on his athleticism to prolong plays and gain yardage. Fields has a history of running effectively against the Lions, such as in a game last season when he rushed for 105 yards in just one quarter.
Fields has carried the ball eight or more times in three out of his five games this season, and all signs and statistics leading up to Sunday’s game indicate that he will exceed that number again. This particular prop bet can be costly, with most NFL prop betting websites offering odds of -135 for the Over. Be sure to compare prices and find the most favorable option available.
Josh Jacobs Under 65.5 rushing yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
FanDuel is currently offering this prop three yards higher than any other NFL prop betting site. What’s even more surprising is that the other top sports betting apps are all predicting the Under, with odds of -110 or worse for Jacobs to not reach 62.5 yards. It’s recommended to place your bet soon, as this number may decrease before the game starts.
Ever since the dismissal of Raider head coach Josh McDaniels, Jacobs has seen an increased role in the Raiders’ offensive strategy. In his last two games, he has rushed the ball 53 times and accumulated a total of 214 yards. It is worth noting that the Raiders emerged victorious in both of these games, providing Jacobs with more chances to showcase his running abilities.
This week, he will find it difficult to get opportunities as his team falls behind the high-scoring Dolphins for the majority of the game. Jacobs, who has been averaging just 3.3 yards per carry this season, requires close to 20 touches to reach this average. Facing the 13th-ranked run defense in football, he may need even more touches to be successful.
