The Los Angeles Rams’ recent acquisitions are expected to take center stage at Super Bowl 56, with receiver Odell Beckham Jr. being particularly poised for a standout performance. Here are the top Super Bowl prop bets to consider for Beckham.

Earlier this year, Beckham struggled to find his place with the Cleveland Browns, failing to develop a strong rapport with QB Baker Mayfield. In six games, he only managed to accumulate 232 yards on 17 catches. However, once he was released by the Browns and signed with the Rams, everything turned around for him.

Beckham scored all five of his regular-season touchdowns between Week 12 and Week 17, averaging 11.3 yards per reception over eight games with L.A. He made an immediate impact and became one of their top targets in the playoffs.

Below are the player prop bets for Odell Beckham in Super Bowl 56, ranked by confidence level on a scale of 1 to 5 stars.

What are Player Prop Bets?

Player props typically involve a set number and the bettor must predict whether the outcome will be above (Over) or below (Under) that number.

Proposition bets offer an entertaining way to engage with the game without committing to a specific team. They can often be a more consistently lucrative option compared to traditional game outcome betting.

Beckham Super Bowl Props

Over 61.5 yards (-110)

This is the clear choice if you want to support Beckham. The odds are slightly lower than other popular books, making it a great opportunity to place a bet.

Beckham has consistently averaged 11.5 yards per reception or higher in all three of his playoff games this year, surpassing 61.5 yards in his last two games. With 19 targets in his past two performances, it is evident that the Rams have integrated him as a crucial part of their offensive strategy alongside Cooper Kupp.

Later on, we’ll delve deeper into it, but the Cincinnati Bengals secondary is expected to be the most vulnerable unit in the upcoming game. Their difficulties in defending top receivers like Beckham suggest that he will likely have a successful performance.

Under 5.5 receptions (-150)

Beckham has had 19 targets in his last two games, surpassing 5.5 catches in each. This is a significant departure from his performance throughout the season and his time with the Rams, where he only had more than 5.5 catches three times. Despite two recent strong showings, he only received double-digit targets twice in the first eight games with the Rams.

Although I believe Beckham could have a strong performance on Sunday, expecting him to make six catches may be too much to ask for given the number of receiving options that quarterback Matthew Stafford has. I anticipate that running back Cam Akers will be involved in the passing game and that Van Jefferson will play a significant role as a deep threat.

Anytime TD (+140)

It’s hard to believe that Beckham has only scored six times this year, with one of those touchdowns coming in the playoffs. However, all of his scores have been with the Rams and have occurred since Week 12. The experienced wide receiver managed to score in the Wild Card Weekend victory against the Arizona Cardinals and has been a consistent threat in the red zone.

With the increase in targets over the last two weeks, there is a strong argument to be made for Beckham scoring a touchdown either on a quick slant or a big play.

Top Beckham Prop Bet

Longest reception Over 23.5 (-115)

When it comes to big plays, it’s worth noting that the Bengals have struggled this year with a poor explosive pass rate, ranking seventh worst in the league, and are 25th in DVOA against deep passes. Their secondary is a weak spot and could be especially susceptible to a player like Beckham.

Beckham has caught a pass for 54 yards this year, and he has had at least one reception of 24 yards or more in nine games, including the playoffs. Considering his performance so far this season and the upcoming matchup, it appears to be a sure thing.
