We have analyzed the NFL odds from top Super Bowl betting sites to make our expert prop bet predictions for the upcoming Super Bowl game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers in 2024.

Breaking through as a long shot in the Super Bowl game leaders market is a difficult task, and this remains true leading up to this year’s Big Game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.

Christian McCaffrey of the 49ers and Isiah Pacheco of the Chiefs are both known for their hard work on their teams. The top receivers for each team are already established, leaving only a few players in the running in this market. The new Super Bowl odds reflect this trend accurately.

In addition to our prediction for the Chiefs vs. 49ers game and other Super Bowl predictions, we are offering our top Super Bowl game leader prop predictions for the matchup between the 49ers and Chiefs. These predictions are based on odds from our top NFL betting sites and are rated on a 1-to-5-star scale for confidence.

Who’ll lead the Super Bowl in rushing yards?

Isiah Pacheco (+170 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐

Both the Chiefs and the 49ers do not use a split backfield, so the top rusher in this game will be either McCaffrey or Pacheco. McCaffrey, who led the league in rushing yards this season, is the superior back, but Pacheco has a more favorable matchup in this game.

Lately, the 49ers’ run defense has been lackluster, allowing 182 yards to the Detroit Lions in their recent game. Despite Pacheco’s struggles, the Chiefs continue to give him the ball, as evidenced by his 24 carries for only 68 yards in the AFC Championship Game.

The 49ers’ defense is allowing an average of 4.3 yards per rush this season. Regardless of which team is ahead, both teams are expected to rely on their running game throughout the game. Taking advantage of favorable odds for a player with a better matchup is a smart bet that shouldn’t be missed.

Who’ll lead the Super Bowl in receiving yards?

Deebo Samuel (+450 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐

Out of all the game leader props, this one stands out as the most intriguing. Brandon Aiyuk is the top choice at certain sportsbooks, while Travis Kelce is favored at others. Both players are predicted to finish in the top two spots according to our top sportsbooks. Surprisingly, Samuel, the 49ers’ third-leading receiver this season, is ranked fourth at the majority of sportsbooks.

Samuel’s stats from the Divisional Round game against the Green Bay Packers are not relevant due to his injury. However, he did manage to finish with eight catches for 89 yards against the Lions.

The Chiefs have a stronger secondary compared to the 49ers, making it advantageous to consider selecting a Kansas City receiver to lead in the game. However, Kelce and Rashee Rice are the sole players with potential to lead for the Chiefs, but they may be slightly overrated. Conversely, Samuel is expected to play a significant role in the 49ers’ offensive strategy and could be the preferred choice in this regard.

Who’ll lead the Super Bowl in receptions?

Travis Kelce (+140 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kelce’s regular season performance did not meet his standards, but he still managed to finish with 93 receptions, which is 14 more than the next leading receiver in the game. In the postseason, Kelce has continued to excel, with 23 catches in three games and 11 in the AFC Championship Game.

Although there is a slight worry about the 49ers’ linebackers posing a challenge for Kelce on Sunday, he and Patrick Mahomes are currently in sync and it would be unwise to switch things up for this game.

Both Aiyuk and Samuel have odds of +450 or higher, and they may evenly split their receptions in the game. It’s difficult to predict which one will be targeted more, as they are both viable big play options. Kelce is known for his consistency, and while the odds may not be ideal, he is the top choice for a game-leading bet in the Super Bowl.
