The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday’s Big Game, and we are showcasing our top Super Bowl receiving prop predictions using the NFL odds from our trusted Super Bowl betting sites.

Which talented receiver will shine the brightest when the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in the 2024 Super Bowl?

During the playoffs, the Chiefs’ defense has limited opponents to an average of 181.5 passing yards per game, successfully containing three MVP-caliber quarterbacks to secure a spot in the Super Bowl. Their next challenge will be facing the 49ers, who are favored in the latest Super Bowl odds due to their talented offensive lineup.

The defense of San Francisco has been inconsistent recently, while Patrick Mahomes is in top form. He is currently the favorite to win Super Bowl MVP, but the question remains: will his receivers deliver on Sunday?

In addition to our predictions for the Chiefs vs. 49ers game and other Super Bowl matchups, we have compiled our top Super Bowl receiving prop bets for Chiefs vs. 49ers. Our odds are sourced from leading NFL betting sites, and we have assigned confidence ratings on a scale of 1 to 5 stars.

Super Bowl receiving prop predictions

George Kittle Under 3.5 receptions (+128 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

Is it worth the high cost to bet on Kittle catching at least four passes in the Super Bowl? Fanduel has the total listed at -158, only slightly higher than the -150 available at other sportsbooks. Can we be confident that the 49ers’ tight end will have a strong performance?

In 11 out of 18 games this season, Kittle has caught three or fewer passes. However, in four games he has managed to secure at least seven catches, showcasing his ability to capitalize on mismatches that the 49ers strategically target.

The Chiefs have excelled at defending tight ends this season, but in a game where the 49ers may struggle to pass, QB Brock Purdy could turn to Kittle as a reliable option. It is likely that Kittle will be utilized more as a blocker to protect Purdy in this matchup.

All the top sportsbooks are providing odds of +110 or higher, but the +128 at FanDuel is simply too enticing to ignore.

Rashee Rice Over 6.5 receptions (-105 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐

Throughout the second half of the season, including the playoffs, Rice has become Mahomes’ second-favorite target after Kelce. He has been targeted 25 times in the postseason, resulting in 20 catches. In the past nine games since Week 12, Rice has caught at least six passes in seven of them, with four and five catches in the other two games.

Rice’s yardage may not always be high, but the Chiefs are determined to involve him in every game. Despite only receiving four targets in the Division Round against the Buffalo Bills, he has averaged nine targets per game in his last nine contests.

Currently, no major sportsbooks are offering odds at +100 or higher, but Caesars is offering -105 which is close. It is advisable to monitor this line as the game approaches. Based on the current trend, the odds may drop to 5.5.

Christian McCaffrey 40+ receiving yards (+132 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

McCaffrey has recorded 40 or more receiving yards in seven games, including the NFC Championship where he caught four passes for 42 yards against the Detroit Lions and broke a 28-yarder at one point.

Maybe it would be wiser to bet on him surpassing his receptions total, but the current odds are too high. Instead, we suggest placing a wager on this prop bet at a more favorable price.

McCaffrey has amassed 78 receptions in 18 games so far this season, averaging 4.3 catches per game. He is expected to be Purdy’s go-to option for short passes in the upcoming game, and once he gets the ball, it’s uncertain how easily he will be taken down.

Currently, only FanDuel and DraftKings are providing alternative betting lines. DraftKings is offering over 42.5 yards at a price of +140. Despite the slightly lower odds, we prefer DraftKings’ line as it offers a better number by three yards.

In our Christian McCaffrey NFL player props, we delve deeper into the star tailback of the 49ers.
