Thursday Night Football Prop Predictions
Burrow Over 11.5 rushing yards (-115) ★★★★
The Bengals’ offensive line has been facing major challenges, allowing 15 sacks in just three weeks. This has forced quarterback Joe Burrow to frequently scramble and run. Although the New York Jets only managed to sack him twice in Week 3, Burrow was sacked a total of 13 times in the two previous games.
As a result, he rushed for 47 yards in Week 1 and 26 yards in Week 2. The Dolphins have achieved six sacks in 2022, but have allowed 166 rushing yards to quarterbacks. Burrow should have no trouble surpassing this total when scrambling out of the pocket.
Chase Over 5.5 receptions (-115) ★★★
Chase has accounted for 28% of the Bengals’ target share, receiving 35 targets in three games. He has only fallen short of this total once in 2022, catching six of his 10 targets in Week 3. Despite the Dolphins’ defense holding the Bills to 19 points in Week 3, Stefon Diggs managed to secure seven catches.
Chase wasn’t the only receiver to record over five catches against the Dolphins in 2022. Mark Andrews also had nine receptions in Week 2.
Mixon Under 64.5 rushing yards (-101) ★★★★★
Mixon is anticipated to be in the lineup, however, his playing time may be affected by an ankle injury that could potentially worsen during the game. In the first game of the season, Mixon managed to surpass 64.5 rushing yards with a total of 82. However, in Week 2, he only gained 57 yards on 19 carries, and in Week 3, he was limited to just 24 yards on 12 carries.
Miami’s defense has performed well against opposing running backs. In Week 1, the Patriots’ Damien Harris was limited to just 48 rushing yards. Lamar Jackson had a standout game against the Dolphins in Week 2 with 119 rushing yards, but Miami held the Ravens’ running backs to just 36 rushing yards. In Week 3, the Dolphins only allowed a combined 59 rushing yards from Bills’ running backs Zach Moss and Devin Singletary.
