The NFL’s Saturday tripleheader kicks off with a cross-conference matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and Minnesota Vikings. Our prediction for the Vikings vs. Bengals game is based on the top NFL odds available at our recommended sportsbooks.

Jake Browning’s impressive streak comes to an end here. While it may be a bit harsh, I believe that Browning’s performance will return to normal after surpassing this milestone in consecutive games against the Indianapolis Colts (275 passing yards) and Jacksonville Jaguars (354 yards). The betting market also seems to share this sentiment, as the total has been adjusted three yards lower since opening.

The current Under has a slight advantage with a projected 230.5 passing yards. It’s worth noting that a few weeks ago, Browning threw for 227 yards on 26 attempts in a 16-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. So, if you believe the projection is a bit low, keep in mind that recent performance.

Under the leadership of defensive coordinator Brian Flores, the Vikings have made significant strides on defense this season. They have risen from 29th to fifth in points allowed, marking the biggest improvement in franchise history. Currently ranked sixth in defensive DVOA, Minnesota is not far behind some of the top teams in the league in this important metric.

Pro Football Focus ranks the Vikings fourth in coverage grade and top-10 in overall defense. They are expected to pose a tougher challenge for Browning compared to the opponents he has faced since taking over as starting quarterback for the injured Joe Burrow.
