The NFL’s Saturday tripleheader kicks off with a cross-conference matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and Minnesota Vikings. Our prediction for the Vikings vs. Bengals game is based on the top NFL odds available at our recommended sportsbooks.

The Minnesota Vikings and Cincinnati Bengals both enter Week 15 on the back of victories.

Jake Browning guided the Bengals to back-to-back wins, most impressively securing a 34-14 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 14.

Last week, the Vikings emerged victorious in a close 3-0 game against the Las Vegas Raiders, showcasing their improving defensive skills. The Raiders, who had previously scored 63 points against the Los Angeles Chargers during Thursday Night Football, were unable to replicate their high-scoring performance against the Vikings.

With both teams at 7-6 and fighting for playoff positioning, which team will secure a crucial win on Saturday and edge closer to a coveted playoff spot?

Here are our top player props for the Vikings vs. Bengals NFL matchup, including Ja’Marr Chase, along with our prediction for the game on Saturday afternoon. Check out the odds from our recommended NFL betting sites and our confidence level on a scale of 1 to 5 stars.

Vikings vs. Bengals prediction: Saturday

Jake Browning Under 242.5 passing yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jake Browning’s impressive streak comes to an end here. While it may be a bit harsh, I believe that Browning’s performance will return to normal after surpassing this milestone in consecutive games against the Indianapolis Colts (275 passing yards) and Jacksonville Jaguars (354 yards). The betting market also seems to share this sentiment, as the total has been adjusted three yards lower since opening.

The current Under has a slight advantage with a projected 230.5 passing yards. It’s worth noting that a few weeks ago, Browning threw for 227 yards on 26 attempts in a 16-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. So, if you believe the projection is a bit low, keep in mind that recent performance.

Under the leadership of defensive coordinator Brian Flores, the Vikings have made significant strides on defense this season. They have risen from 29th to fifth in points allowed, marking the biggest improvement in franchise history. Currently ranked sixth in defensive DVOA, Minnesota is not far behind some of the top teams in the league in this important metric.

Pro Football Focus ranks the Vikings fourth in coverage grade and top-10 in overall defense. They are expected to pose a tougher challenge for Browning compared to the opponents he has faced since taking over as starting quarterback for the injured Joe Burrow.

Our top sports betting apps have agreed on a total consensus, with the exception of FanDuel setting the passing yards line at 240.5. This could suggest the direction the market is trending, as bet365 offers the most favorable odds at -110 for the Under on 242.5 passing yards.

This prop can be played for passing yards up to 240.5 at our top sportsbooks. Prior to that, we would rather investigate individual receiving markets.

The game started with a spread just under a field goal, but has consistently been at or above the key number at our top sports betting sites. The line shifted from 3.5 to 3 after Justin Jefferson confirmed he would be playing this weekend. The total initially was as low as 38.5 and has since risen to 40 or 40.5.

The Vikings have a 7-4-2 record against the spread and are 10-3 to the Under this season. Meanwhile, the Bengals are 6-6-1 ATS and have a 7-6 record to the Over.
