Our forecast indicates that D’Andre Swift will excel in an expanded role in our parlay predictions for the Minnesota Vikings-Philadelphia Eagles game, supported by the top NFL odds for Thursday Night Football.

In Week 1, the Philadelphia Eagles narrowly defeated the New England Patriots on the road, while the Minnesota Vikings are still reeling from a recent loss.

Following a disappointing loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by just a field goal, can Minnesota secure a significant victory on the road Thursday night? It may be a challenge if D’Andre Swift, who is showing signs of improvement, has any influence on the outcome.

Here are our top Vikings vs. Eagles parlay predictions to go along with our Vikings vs. Eagles prediction and Thursday Night Football player props. These picks are based on odds from our recommended NFL betting sites and are rated on a scale of 1 to 5 stars for confidence.

SGP predictions for Vikings vs. Eagles

D’Andre Swift Over 33.5 rushing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Despite Rashaad Penny being a healthy scratch, D’Andre Swift had a minimal impact in Philadelphia’s Week 1 victory over New England as Kenneth Gainwell carried the bulk of the workload. However, Gainwell will be sidelined for Thursday night’s game due to a rib injury.

Eagles head coach Nick Siriani hinted that the team is hoping to give Swift more opportunities after only one carry and one reception in Week 1. With the starting running back injured, now is the perfect chance to increase Swift’s involvement.

FanDuel offers a better value on this prop compared to DraftKings. The FanDuel line is set at 33.5 yards with standard -110 odds on the Over, while DraftKings sets it at 34.5 yards with lower-quality -115 odds.

Nevertheless, Evans Santiago is turning to Swift’s teammates for his predictions on who will score a touchdown in Thursday Night Football.

D’Andre Swift Over 16.5 receiving yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We are increasing our focus on utilizing Swift’s versatility in various roles out of the backfield on Thursday. When Siriani talked about the possibility of Swift playing a larger offensive role for the Eagles, he emphasized that Swift’s abilities go beyond just carrying the ball and could be utilized in different ways.

Although unexpected changes could occur, such as Penny becoming more involved or Scott getting more opportunities, we are confident that Swift will see an increase in his role.

DraftKings does not have a receiving yardage prop available for Swift, so FanDuel becomes the clear choice for our TNF parlay. FanDuel has Swift’s receiving yards set at a reachable 16.5 with standard -110 odds on the Over.

Eagles -6.5 (-102) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Minnesota passing offense has all the makings of being one of the best units in the league. With experienced quarterback Kirk Cousins leading the way and playmakers like superstar Justin Jefferson, reliable tight end T.J. Hockensen, and speedy rookie Jordan Addison, the team has a strong foundation for success.

However, the Minnesota running game is lacking with Alexander Mattison at the forefront. Given Philadelphia’s top-tier secondary, it seems unlikely that the Vikings can keep up in scoring on Thursday night. Perry Odelia also predicts Kirk Cousins will fall short in his NFL player props for Week 2.

The opening line for the Eagles was -7.5, making it a great opportunity to include in our parlay now that it has dropped below a touchdown. FanDuel has the better odds at -6.5 with -102 compared to DraftKings at -105. This is a clean sweep for FanDuel in terms of SGP odds.
