The Giants struggled in Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys, but they have a chance to bounce back in their upcoming game. We will analyze their matchup in our NFL parlay predictions for Week 2, using the latest NFL odds from the top sports betting apps.

The New York Giants began their 2026 season on a disappointing note with a 40-0 loss at home to Dallas. This defeat came after a surprising playoff appearance in 2026. By the midway point of the second quarter, New York was already trailing 26-0, and they struggled with five fumbles and allowed seven sacks in the game.

Seahawks-Lions Over 47 (-110 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Seahawks are poised for a rebound in this familiar situation, following a disappointing performance in their season opener against the Rams where they allowed 23 unanswered points in a 30-13 loss. Players like star receiver DK Metcalf are voicing their determination to bounce back, with Metcalf acknowledging that the Rams outplayed the Seahawks in their last game.

In order for Seattle to make a comeback, they will need to score points. Detroit’s offense struggled on the grass field in Week 1, only putting up 14 points with one score coming from an interception return. However, the Lions have a stronger performance on the turf of Ford Field, scoring 25 or more points in 11 of their last 12 games. They will also have the advantage of extra preparation time after opening the season on Thursday.

Due to injuries along Seattle’s offensive line, early action on the Under has caused the total to drop from 51 to 47. Despite this, there has been an average of 91.5 points scored in two meetings between these teams over the last two years. Therefore, I am willing to participate in the buyback on the Over.

New York Giants ML (-210 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Opening a season with a 40-0 loss at home to a division rival on national television is one of the worst ways to start. However, despite the Giants’ poor performance against Dallas, we should not overlook the fact that they had a rough start to the game. New York’s mistakes in the first quarter, including a blocked field-goal return for a touchdown and a pick-six, quickly put them in a 16-0 deficit. This forced Daniel Jones to throw on nearly every play, facing constant pressure from Dallas’ strong pass rush.

A trip to Arizona is just what the Giants need to prove their 2026 playoff appearance was no fluke. Despite being the underdogs, the Cardinals managed to keep it close against Washington in a 20-16 loss during Week 1. Arizona only had 13 first downs, but they were able to stay in the game thanks to three turnovers by the Commanders and Washington only scoring touchdowns on two out of five red-zone trips.

The Cardinals have one of the least effective home-field advantages in the league, with a 4-10 record against the spread in their last 14 home matchups and eight consecutive losses as a home underdog. Ignoring the Week 1 results, the Giants’ moneyline at -250 or better seems like a sure bet for your NFL parlay.

New York Jets first-half spread +6 (-110 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐

The Jets displayed remarkable resilience in Week 1, bouncing back from a 13-3 halftime deficit to stun the Bills in overtime. Meanwhile, New York’s other team faced a devastating blow as Aaron Rodgers was lost for the season after just four plays.

Zach Wilson stepped in admirably for Rodgers, guiding the Jets to three scoring drives in the second half. However, the real standout was the New York defense, which sacked Josh Allen five times and caused four turnovers. This defensive unit has the ability to keep the Jets competitive in any matchup, and Dallas might be slightly overestimated following their dominant 40-0 victory over the Giants in Week 1.

The Cowboys’ first two touchdowns in the game were scored by their special teams and defense. Dallas ended the game with only 18 first downs and 265 total yards of offense.
