In the first three games of this series, a total of 27 goals have been scored, with all three games surpassing the Over line. Game 1 had a total of 5.5 goals but ended in a 7-4 final score, exceeding expectations. Game 2 had a total set at 6.0 goals, and the teams combined for nine goals. The Oilers have dominated the Kings in the past two postseasons and throughout this calendar year. Edmonton has won four of their last five meetings since Feb. 26, with each victory by a margin of at least two goals (4-2, 4-1, 7-4, 6-1).

If Skinner can hold his own in goal, the Oilers should have no trouble outscoring the Kings by a significant margin. Talbot’s performance has been lackluster in this series, but the Oilers’ power play has been exceptional, converting on seven of their 14 opportunities.
