Spain and France, both known for their strong offense and solid defense, will face off in Munich on Tuesday for a chance to advance to the Euro 2024 final on Sunday.

Our selections for the Spain vs. France parlay and SGP spotlight Lamine Yamal’s potential impact on the offensive end, as well as predictions for the halftime outcome and which team will progress to the next round.

Spain has scored the most goals in the tournament, finding the net 11 times. Although four of those goals were against Georgia in the Round of 16, it’s important to recognize Spain’s strong attacking capabilities. They have impressed with their play and are close to reaching the European Championship final for the first time since their 2012 victory.

The favorites to advance to the final in Euro 2024, La Roja, are the front-runners based on consensus odds at our top sports betting sites. However, they will face a tough challenge against France’s defense, which has only allowed one goal – a penalty against Poland.

The match on Tuesday will kick off at 3 p.m. ET at Munich Arena in Munich, Germany, airing on Fox Sports. In addition to our predictions for Spain vs. France and player props, we are sharing our top parlay for the game.

Lamine Yamal Over 0.5 shots on target

Lamine Yamal, a high school student, is likely studying basic probability in his mathematics class. Despite his age of 16, he has a 50% chance of hitting at least one shot on target in the semifinal match, based on implied probability.

The 16-year-old is achieving feats that are beyond most people’s understanding and doing it with flair. Yamal has managed to hit the target four times in four starts at Euro 2024, with three of those shots coming in the last two games.

He had the opportunity to increase his shot count against Germany, but narrowly missed a dangerous free kick from approximately 25 meters out. He is frequently responsible for taking Spain’s close-range free kicks and possesses the speed to make space for scoring chances.

Halftime draw

Semifinal matches at major tournaments are typically tense, especially in the first half. In six out of eight semifinals since Euro 2008, the score was level at halftime. France’s five matches had four tied scores at halftime, with the exception being their Euro 2024 opener against Austria.

With little separating these two teams, I anticipate a closely contested start to the match. Both sides cannot afford to concede early, particularly France. With a spot in the final at stake, this game is likely to be decided in the final moments, possibly with a goalless first half.

Placing a standalone bet with FanDuel’s -120 odds would result in a profit of $8.33.

The odds are -120 according to FanDuel, which implies a 54.55% probability.

Spain to advance

If Spain’s advancement to the final was determined by style alone, they would have already secured enough points without having to play in the semifinals. The team was outstanding in their victory over the hosts in the quarterfinals. If they can replicate their performance against Germany, La Roja should easily secure their first spot in the final in 12 years.

In the meantime, France is considered one of the most tactically astute teams in international football, having reached the last two World Cup finals. Embracing the concept of winning despite unattractive play has been a source of pride for Didier Deschamps ever since he assumed the coaching role following Euro 2012.

His team will likely push for extra time in the typical French fashion, but I predict that Spain will ultimately end France’s struggles in Euro 2024 by scoring a decisive goal.

This parlay has odds of +577, meaning a $10 bet will result in a profit of $57.70 if all three selections win.

The odds are -118 on FanDuel, which implies a probability of 54.13%.
