Thunder vs. Pelicans prop bet predictions for Saturday

Jonas Valanciunas Under 25.5 points + rebounds ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Valanciunas had an outstanding performance in Game 1, grabbing a season-high 20 rebounds. However, in Game 2, he only managed to secure seven rebounds. Throughout the regular season, Valanciunas averaged 8.8 rebounds per game and only recorded 15 or more rebounds in three games. Therefore, his performance in Game 1 can be considered an anomaly in terms of rebounding.

Valanciunas stepped up in Game 2 with 19 points compared to his 13 in Game 1, filling in the void left by Zion Williamson. However, his scoring opportunities may decrease in a low-scoring game at home, allowing others to have an easier time putting points on the board.

CJ McCollum Over 3.5 3-pointers made ⭐⭐⭐

McCollum has only made 3 of his 14 attempts from beyond the arc in the series so far. But returning to his familiar home court for Game 3 should provide a boost for him.

In his final three home games of the season, he made a minimum of four 3-pointers each game. While his shooting percentage in the playoffs has been low, it doesn’t need to improve much for him to reach the Over on this total. He has tried at least nine 3-pointers in eight of his last nine games.

At odds of +155, this offer is too good to ignore for a shooter with a hot hand. These odds translate to a 39.22% chance of winning and a potential payout of $25.50 on a $10 bet.

Josh Giddey Over 9.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Giddey’s performance has been inconsistent against the Pelicans this season. He scored 13 points in Game 2, a significant improvement from the two points he scored in Game 1. In his previous game in New Orleans, he tallied 25 points, but in the game before that, he only scored four points in the same arena.

The guard has scored at least 13 points in three out of five games against the Pelicans. Although he tends to miss badly when he doesn’t reach that mark, Giddey finds this number very achievable. If the Pelicans continue to play defense like they did in Game 2, he should easily surpass it.

Placing a $10 wager at DraftKings with odds of -105 would result in a $19.52 payout, indicating an implied probability of 51.2%.
