Freddie Freeman (+1000 via bet365)
Arraez may be the favorite and Acuna may be the reigning king, but Freeman is my top choice for the 2024 season.
Freeman trailed Acuna by only six hits last year and is now receiving added lineup protection from Shohei Ohtani on the Los Angeles Dodgers. However, the focus will be on how the Dodgers will organize their batting order in the upcoming months.
If the Dodgers decide to put Los Angeles’ first baseman in the No. 2 spot, his value in this market will increase significantly, as pitchers will likely focus on him with Ohtani hitting behind. On the other hand, if Freeman is placed in the third spot, we may shift our focus to Acuna as our top choice.
